Saturday, November 18th, 2023 from 10am to 3pm
at the John M. Perry Post 1044 (691 Rt. 340, Sparkill NY)
PEOPLE FOOD: Unopened Non-Perishable Food, including Pasta & Sauce,
Cereal, Rice, Beans, Soup, Coffee & Tea, Peanut Butter, Jelly/Jam,
Snack Bars, Drinks, Bake Mixes, Toiletries, Dried Fruits, Snacks,
Dry Goods and Canned Goods.
PET FOOD & RELATED ITEMS: Dog and Cat Food (canned & dry), Pet Treats,
Rabbit Food, Pet Hay / Shavings, Leashes, Collars, Pet Toys and Pet Beds.
SHELTER FACILITY ITEMS: Rubber Gloves, Disposable Gloves, Hand Sanitizer,
Paper Towels, Trash Bags, Large Storage Bins, Cleaning Products, Medical Supplies and Office Supplies.

Since our charter in 1938, The American Legion John M. Perry Post #1044 of Sparkill NY, has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all men and women military personnel and their families serving our country.
Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community. The John M. Perry Post #1044 mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families embodied in our preamble below.
~PREAMBLE TO THE AMERICAN LEGION CONSTITUTION~
For God and Country, we associate ourselves together for the following purposes:
To maintain law and order;
To foster and perpetuate a one hundred percent Americanism;
To preserve the memories and incidents of our associations in the Great Wars;
To inculcate a sense of individual obligation to the community state and nation;
To combat the autocracy of both the classes and the masses;
To make right the master of might;
To promote peace and good will on earth;
To safeguard and transmit to posterity the principles of Justice, Freedom and Democracy;
To consecrate and sanctify our comradeship by our devotion to mutual helpfulness.
