The John M. Perry Post awards two scholarships every year to Tappan Zee High School Seniors. The applicant must have a family member or ancestor who was a U.S military veteran. The selection process takes into consideration the family's military history as well as the applicant's leadership qualifications, scholastic accomplishments and extra-curricular engagement in our community. The applicant's resume must be turned into the guidance office by early May with the scholarship then being awarded at the June Senior Class Award Ceremony which is held in early June at the school.
